Louis A. Rivera: CEO – Chief Executive Orchestrator

Louis studied Radio, T.V. and Film at the University of Maryland and started his first company, representing working musicians during his senior year of college. With over twenty years of media and marketing experience to his credit, he has worked inside some of the most prestigious media companies in the world including: Viacom, CBS Television, Infinity Radio and New York Times Digital as part of the award winning Boston.com. His music marketing credentials include owning and operating his own marketing and concert production company, fresh out of college. Owning and operating a live music and concert venue. In addition, he was the V.P. of Sales at WFNX in Boston when it was defining the Alternative Rock format and breaking bands such as Nirvana and Pearl Jam. Most recently he had the good fortune of spending some time inside the highly innovative Sonicbids working to connect brands with the tastemakers of the independent music community.

As Chief Executive Orchestrator for CMI, Louis is accessing his experience and contacts in Radio and Television along with the skills and network he has built from his years designing customized solutions for clients using established digital media, branded entertainment along with viral and emerging media. In addition to his experience working with such high profile brands such as MGM, JetBlue, Ford, Honda, Six Flags as well Tourism Boards from countries all over the world, Lou has also worked to develop campaigns for small and medium size companies where an efficient R.O.I. on advertising could mean the difference between profit and loss on any given year.

Lou's role at CMI is to provide the strategic vision and to access his years of operational experience in media in order to assemble the right collaborative team for any media or marketing challenge. He is a skilled negotiator and believes in forging long term partnerships that grow and continue to produce dividends over time. When he’s not exploring new ways to find the right marketing solution for his clients, Lou can be found working on numerous unfinished writing projects or wielding a black and white Stratocaster in an attempt to channel the spirit of the great musical giants of his formative years. Lou is currently enrolled in a Master of Fatherhood program conducted exclusively for his benefit by his two beautiful daughters Ariana and Kristen. 

Keith Lane       Senior Collaborative Advisor: Creative Director 

Keith Lane is an award winning Creative Director who possesses an all-consuming passion for the creative process. Keith has been a Founding Partner and Creative Director at two of the country’s most respected advertising and marketing firms Emerson, Lane, Fortuna and Arnold, Fortuna, Lane (now Arnold Worldwide). His work has received over 500 national and international awards and he continues to receive consistent accolades from both his peers and his clients.  

Over the years Keith’s ability to build and lead a creative team has brought success to his clients and unfailing recognition for his creative prowess. He is known for finding and mentoring young talent and for his desire to surround himself with innovative, creative talent that are interested in breaking new ground in all forms of media.  

Keith Lane understands the power of an idea.  He also understands how to execute ideas that stand out and deliver results for his clients. His skill at building and leading collaborative teams, generating the big idea and executing world class, award winning creative campaigns will allow CMI to provide creative services at the highest possible level. Keith Lane’s experience and creative bona fides provides CMI with an invaluable source of advice, practical know how and creative genius.   

Jeff D’Urso  Senior Collaborative Partner: Business Development – Analysis, Strategy, Execution

Jeff is an MIT graduate and an INC 500 entrepreneur. He is a passionate strategist, innovator, and technologist with extensive experience partnering with executives and business owners to convert “good ideas” into fast-growth multi-million dollar businesses.  His successes include: Open Enterprise Corporation (OEC), an IT consultancy which he co-founded and sold for $10 million by helping companies such as Thomson Financial and State Street develop effective internal systems to accelerate growth. 

He partnered with a travel industry client to help develop DestinationWeddings.com. Jeff became part of the founding team and interim CEO, developing the technology infrastructure to manage 150+ specialists, and the marketing systems to attract 200+ new client couples each month. The venture ranked #149 on the 2008 INC 500 because of its exceptional and consistent revenue growth.

Jeff also developed the concept, and patent-pending technology for "BlitzTime" - the first social networking event platform that enables users to make new business connections through a series of live, 1-on-1 telephone conversations. Jeff’s technical expertise and finely honed marketing instincts allows CMI to offer clients a range of services that are designed to create a more tangible connection between advertising, marketing initiatives and consistent sales growth.

Christina Wilczewski: Collaborative Strategy, Research, Campaign Metrics

Christi earned her M.S. in Marketing at Johns Hopkins University in 1998 and her B.S. in communications at Cornell University in 1993. She has held senior marketing positions at a number of technology and software companies including: Ariel Research (a data and services provider) and Aspect Communications (a software developer and hardware manufacturer). She currently lectures and is part of the University of Phoenix faculty where she teaches Graduate Courses in Marketing Management and Consumer Behavior.  

 

Claudia Baeza, Esquire: Design, Collaborative Execution, Intellectual Property and Licensing

Claudia is an attorney with dual specializations in Intellectual Property and International Law and Business. She earned a post doctorate (LLM) from Suffolk University School of Law and is a licensed practitioner in the State of Massachusetts. She has also taught design and does corporate consulting in the digital arena. She has written a thesis on Mobile Technology as a learning tool inside museum environments as part of an MFA Interactive Media Design Graduate Program at the Massachusetts College of Art. Claudia continues to be involved in the evolving field of learning technology as a designer and educator.

 

Marissa Mediate: Client Development, Collaborative Strategy

Marissa earned her B.A. from Boston University where she also served as a Senior Marketing and Advertising Manager working on such prestigious publications as Bostonia Magazine and BU Today. Marissa was also a Senior Account Executive at Boston Magazine and has worked in various capacities with several start-up projects in the Real Estate field. Marissa brings a wealth of practical knowledge about business as well as the world of marketing and advertising to CMI. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Mediate Management Inc., a Real Estate company owned by her family, along with numerous charitable boards.

Roger Lyons: Video and Film, Writer, Director, Producer

Roger is a graduate of the Newhouse School of Communication at Syracuse University. He is a four term President and five term National Trustee of the New England Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (N.A.T.A.S.). In addition to running his own production company, Roger has worked as an Executive Producer at the CBS owned and operated Television station in Boston, WBZ-TV and was also the Director of Advertising and On-Air Promotion for the prestigious Public Television Station, WGBH. He also has worked on numerous production teams for national programs such as “Frontline”, “Zoom” and “Hallmark Hall of Fame”. Roger is a talented producer and writer, and through his years of real world experience, he has developed a keen understanding of collaboration principles and creative team building. 

Dan Masca: Managing Director REEA

Dan has built and invested in start-up companies in both Europe and the United States. REEA is an award-winning software development and visual/new media company based in Romania that provides web related software and design services. Dan leads a large team of designers, programmers, software and technical specialists who are fluent in a variety programming languages. His team includes a visual department proficient in 2d/3d animation and illustration, copywriting and state of the art photo and video editing. Dan’s technical expertise, his access to robust design and technical resources and his experience nurturing start-up companies continues to provide CMI with invaluable support and advice. 

Kimball Packard: Artist Management/Branded Entertainment

Kimball is a seasoned entertainment entrepreneur with seventeen years of experience in the music industry, including concert promotion, label and artist management, and special events planning. He was honored as Manager of the Year at the 2007 and 2008 at the New Orleans Music Awards. His diverse background includes running two independent record labels, Rising Records and Say See Bone Records. He has produced numerous successful music events throughout New England and New Orleans.

Between 1981 and 1985 he owned the Eagle Mountain House in Jackson New Hampshire, a 110 room Inn that known as a haven for creative artists seeking refuge from the big city. Kim has also owned and operated an independent artist management company for 14 years, working with a diverse roster of established, independent and emerging musicians and bands from around the U.S. and U.K. Kimball was a founding board member of the Mt. Washington Valley Arts Jubilee, a former President of the Jackson Resort Association, and a member of the Boston Sports Awards committee for 3 years. He is a member of NARAS (the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences), and the Boston Managers Group. Kim’s skill at building long term industry relationships along with his expertise in artist management and event production is great asset to CMI’s Branded Entertainment initiatives.
